Door Engineer

Industrial/Automatic Door Engineers Required

We are looking to recruit experienced Industrial/Automatic Door Engineers for a thriving business in Whiteley, although candidates are not required to attend the site every day

Salary £40,000–£50,000; however, for highly skilled candidates the salary is negotiable

Van, fuel card, pension 28 days holiday (inc bank holidays) & employee assistance plan

As an experienced engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and installing a wide range of industrial and automatic door systems across Hampshire

Requirements

• Full clean UK driving licence
• Proven experience servicing, repairing, and installing industrial, automatic, and pedestrian doors
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience with industrial doors
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience with automatic doors

Desirable

• Electrical qualification
• Automatic door experience
• Access control knowledge

Key Skills & Attributes

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills, particularly when interacting with clients face-to-face
• Good understanding of health & safety regulations and adherence to legislation

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial door systems and related equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety standards (CSCS card required)
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
• Travel to various job sites and complete work efficiently and on time
• Carry out inspections and troubleshoot faults to ensure optimal performance
