About The Role

We are looking for a passionate Economics Tutor to join the high achieving department. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver inspiring lessons, bring knowledge and experience to the curriculum, and have a desire to teach beyond the specification, believing every student can succeed. Appreciation that the commitment to delivering outstanding educational and outcome goes beyond the classroom.

All staff within the Trust need to have a commitment to professional development, an enthusiasm for team work and a passion for improvement.

While a teaching qualification is desirable, we will consider applications from non- qualified graduates. If you are looking to start a career in teaching at the Sixth Form College you will be given the opportunity to obtain a fully paid, PGCE teaching qualification . This will be supported with a reduced timetable for the initial 2 years, with ongoing comprehensive support , mentoring and professional development.

An unqualified teacher can expect to earn between £23,140 - £35,303 FTE, subject to relevant experience and qualifications.
