Role Overview
GSK is delivering a large-scale data transformation and modernisation programme focused on implementing SAP PLM Cloud as an IDMP-aligned formulation management tool. This initiative aims to standardise, govern, and improve the quality of formulation data across R&D while ensuring regulatory compliance. This role will support Small Molecule and Large Molecule BAU activities, while also contributing to the implementation of SAP PLM Cloud within Vaccines (Vx). The Data Analyst will play a key role in ensuring high-quality, consistent, and reliable data across integrated systems.
Key Responsibiltites
- Support data management and system delivery activities within SAP PLM Cloud
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across multiple systems
- Create and maintain business and technical documentation, including:- User Requirement Specifications (URS)- Business Process Specification Documents (BPSD)- Test scripts
- Support GP&T technical cycles, including system configuration, testing, and deployment
- Manage and support system testing (UAT), ensuring readiness for go-live and cutover
- Perform data harmonisation activities, including:- Material master data alignment- Substance mapping across systems (e.g., ECC Rx, COMET)
- Support integration of data into unified SAP PLM Cloud objects
- Develop and implement processes for substance mapping uploads
- Ensure alignment between business-approved data and system templates
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and quality issues
- Contribute to continuous improvement of data processes and governance
- Create training materials and support knowledge transfer across teams
- Collaborate with business, technical, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in data analysis, data management, or similar roles
- Strong understanding of data quality, data mapping, and data integrity principles
- Experience in creating technical and business documentation
- Exposure to system testing (UAT, test scripts, validation processes)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of working within integrated systems environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Exposure to SAP (SAP PLM, ECC, or similar systems)
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical or life sciences environments
- Understanding of material master data and data harmonisation processes
- Familiarity with regulated environments (e.g., GMP)
- Awareness of IDMP standards (preferred but not essential)

- Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data, IT, Life Sciences, Engineering) or equivalent experience
