Moughton Engineering are looking to recruit the following –

Skilled CNC Miller / Machinist with Programming and Operating Experience

immediate start

The successful applicant will have relevant experience, a strong work ethic, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will be expected to produce high-quality machined components in line with the company’s standards.

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, and working to tight tolerances.

Working efficiently to meet challenging deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Setting tools confidently, with a good understanding of cutting speeds and feeds.

Using inspection and measuring equipment such as verniers, bore gauges, and micrometres.

Deburring machined components during production while minimising disruption to workflow.

This is a fast-paced working environment, so the successful candidate must be both efficient and methodical.

The role offers a basic 38-hour week with an early finish on Fridays, overtime opportunities, 23 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, birthday leave, a wellbeing day, Christmas Eve leave, a contributory pension scheme, life insurance, and occupational health screening.
