Aldrington CE Primary School is looking for two versatile, creative and suitably qualified Teaching Assistants to join our staff team to support children’s progress in learning in class and through intervention groups. A particular interest in working with children in Early Years and Key Stage 1 is desirable.

This role is to work with children with high needs (with an education health care plan or on the pathway to one) as well as to support general learning in class, and includes delivering individualised programmes under the guidance of external specialists. Please read the Job Description carefully. Although this is a fixed term contract initially, it is likely to lead to further opportunity for suitable candidates.

Positions available: 2

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm.

Part-time: 31.25 hours per week, term-time only (0.769 FTE).

Paid weeks per year: 47.36 (inclusive of holiday entitlement)

Fixed term: Until end of academic year 2027 (paid until 31st August)

Start date: 1 September 2026
