Temporary Part-Time Teaching Assistant with Responsibility for Bre

Required from 1st of September 2026

Hours of work are 20 hours per week Monday to Friday 7.30am-11.30am (7.30am-8.30am in Breakfast Club and 8.30am-11.30am in class) term time only.

Temporary until 31st August 2027 in the first instance.

The Governing Body of Our Lady & St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School is seeking to appoint an outstanding teaching assistant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and great interpersonal skills

Our Lady & St Joseph’s is a one form entry Catholic Primary School situated in Wath-upon-Dearne in Rotherham. Our school offers a fantastic environment and developing curriculum for our children and staff, and we are proud of the significant achievements secured – including a strong results track-record. We have worked hard to develop our outdoor environment and have developed the Forest School approach across all year groups.

• Level 2 or equivalent qualifications (or a commitment to beginning this training)
• Experience of working with children
• A kind and caring attitude towards children of all ages
• A good sense of humour and is able to work as part of a team
