Working pattern: Full-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Sandown Primary School and Nursery as a Nursery Practitioner.

You will become part of a dedicated and supportive team of professionals where morale is high and the wellbeing of our entire school community is a top priority. We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring, and flexible individual to join our highly motivated nursery team.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a genuine passion for working with and caring for young children.

  • Hold a full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years.

  • Have experience working within a childcare or early years setting.

  • Demonstrate strong and up-to-date knowledge of the EYFS and Statutory Framework.

  • Use reflective practice to continually improve outcomes for all children.

  • Communicate professionally and effectively, both verbally and in writing.

  • Be highly motivated, proactive, and committed to developing their skills.
