Why this role matters

Video is one of the most powerful ways we share stories, educate communities, and spark conversations at Period Reality. Across our campaigns, resources, and projects, short-form video helps us make important topics more engaging, accessible, and relatable.

We’re looking for a creative video editor who can help bring our ideas to life through thoughtful, impactful content across multiple teams and initiatives.

What you’ll do

  • Edit short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
  • Support multiple teams and projects across Period Reality with video content needs
  • Create engaging edits for storytelling, educational content, campaigns, and community updates
  • Add captions, transitions, audio, and visual elements to improve accessibility and engagement
  • Help adapt long-form content into short, engaging clips for digital platforms
  • Contribute creative ideas and experiment with formats, trends, and storytelling styles
  • Ensure video content aligns with Period Reality’s tone, mission, and visual identity

What we’re looking for

  • Experience editing short-form video content for social media platforms
  • Familiarity with editing tools such as CapCut, Canva, or similar tools
  • Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and audience engagement
  • Creativity and ability to translate ideas into visually engaging content
  • Comfortable working across multiple projects and collaborating with different teams
  • Proactive, self-driven, and able to manage tasks independently while committing time consistently
  • Open to feedback and collaborative working styles
  • Aligned with our mission and comfortable working in an impact-driven environment
