This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Healthcare Support Worker to become part of the busy team delivering care to the patients of NHS Grampian, within the Main Theatre Suite.
This post will rotate between the Barrier & Recovery team, but the successful candidate must be flexible to cover all areas of the theatre department if required.
In this role, you will be responsible for transporting patients to and from the theatre department, inpatient wards, X-Ray etc., management of the transport of specimens, blood products and general stock of pharmacy supplies, linen etc.
Candidates should be highly motivated, enthusiastic and willing to work flexibly to meet the needs of the 24/7 service. Candidates must also be able to demonstrate they are an effective team member, with a high level of fitness in order to perform this physically challenging role effectively. Candidates must have NHS experience to apply. Applicants should have the ability to work well under pressure, supporting the team to provide safe and effective care to patients with varying levels of complexity.
This post is full time requiring day and night rotation to cover the 24/7 service.
