We are looking for a Data Engineer who thrives on turning complex business processes into streamlined, automated solutions. This role sits at the intersection of data, automation, and AI, and will play a key part in building scalable reporting frameworks, improving operational efficiency, and driving the adoption of AI-powered workflows across the business.

You'll work extensively with Google Sheets, Apps Script, and AI tools such as Claude to develop intelligent solutions that help teams make better decisions and work more effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced reporting solutions using Google Sheets
• Develop complex formulas, data models, and automated reporting frameworks
• Create and maintain automation scripts using Google Apps Script
• Integrate data from multiple sources into scalable reporting environments
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting and operational requirements
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI tools, including Claude, to improve business processes and productivity
• Optimise existing workflows and eliminate manual processes through automation
• Support data quality, governance, and reporting best practices

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Google Sheets, including advanced formula writing and reporting design
• Experience developing solutions using Google Apps Script
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Experience working with stakeholders across different business functions
• Passion for automation and continuous process improvement

Desirable Skills

• Python experience
