Balance Care is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team as a full-time Deputy Manager. This is a fantastic chance to play a key role in supporting high-quality care and contributing to the continued success of our service.
As a Deputy Manager, you will:
- Lead and support colleagues – playing an active role in guiding the team to deliver safe, consistent, and high-quality services.
- Develop your understanding of external regulators – including CQC and local authority standards – and gain experience in demonstrating compliance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement in practice.
- Champion person-centred care – ensuring that the people we support remain at the centre of everything we do, with care that reflects their individuality, choices, and aspirations.
- Take responsibility for office-based leadership tasks – including scheduling, reporting, compliance checks, and communication with families, professionals, and stakeholders.
- Strengthen personal and professional skills – such as resilience, adaptability, effective decision-making, and clear communication under pressure.
- Build strong foundations for future career progression – gaining the knowledge, insight, and leadership experience that could support a permanent move into management in the future.

About the Role
Contract: Full-time
Hours: 40-hours’ per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday (office-based - with travel across the North West)
Location: The Base, Dallam Lane, Warrington, WA2 7NG
This position plays a key part in maintaining effective service delivery, providing guidance to our teams, and ensuring the people we support receive person-centred care of the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
As a Deputy Manager, you will:
- Oversee the day-to-day coordination of existing packages of care, ensuring continuity and consistency.
- Provide support, supervision, and guidance to colleagues within your team.
- Work closely with service users, families, and external professionals to maintain excellent standards of care.
- Manage office-based administrative tasks including scheduling, reporting, and compliance monitoring.
- Contribute to service improvements and uphold Balance Care’s values and quality standards.
