Are you passionate about assisting individuals through training and development?
We are currently recruiting an individual with training / assessing experience to join our multi skilled team of police officers and police staff, in our Operational Training department, to deliver a range of training.
Our Trainers will be the key to ensuring that police volunteers have the knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
In this role, you will initially provide our police officers and staff with up to date Police and Personal Safety (PPST) and First Aid training, before expanding your training portfolio in one or more specialist areas, so they can remain accredited in their mandatory and specialist skills. It not only increases their abilities and confidence but also enhances performance across the organisation.
In This Role, Your Main Responsibilities Will Be
To arrange and deliver structured CSW roadside training to adult volunteers of new or existing schemes in accordance with specified force standards.
To submit training records/outcomes to the constabulary via the CSW & NHW Administrators so those who have undertaken the training can be tracked.
Where appropriate, adapt training to tailor content to meet individual volunteer needs.
Skills, Experience And Qualifications Required
Train the trainer session which will be provided and delivered by our Road Safety Enforcement Team
We are hoping to find a volunteer who is able to deliver training out in the community which will last approximately 2 hours.
This is a long term volunteering commitment within your local community.
These fully trained volunteers will make a real positive impact on your local community.

Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for this role you must have a 5 year ‘checkable history’ in the UK – ideally this means that you would have been resident in the UK for the last 3 years.
