Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing provider of integrated security solutions, delivering high-quality CCTV, Intruder Alarm, Access Control, Fire, and Monitoring services to commercial and residential customers across the UK.

As part of their continued expansion, they are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven

Business Development Manager to play a key role in driving new business growth.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional with a strong background in the electronic security sector. You'll be responsible for developing new business opportunities, nurturing key client relationships, and expanding existing accounts while promoting a comprehensive portfolio of security solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities,
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, consultants, specifiers, and end users.
  • Develop and grow existing customer accounts, identifying opportunities for additional products and services.
  • Promote maintenance, monitoring, and recurring revenue services alongside system installations.
  • Prepare and deliver commercially competitive proposals and presentations.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and performance objectives.
  • Work closely with operational and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management.

Candidate Requirements

Essential

  • Minimum three years' successful B2B sales experience within the security industry.
  • Strong knowledge of CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Access Control, and Fire Alarm systems.
  • Proven track record of generating and winning new business.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of managing your own territory effectively.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions.

Desirable

  • Industry qualifications such as NICEIC, FIA, BTEC, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of NSI and FIA standards, regulations, and industry best practice.
  • Established industry contacts and network within the region.
  • Experience selling maintenance and monitoring contracts.
