HGV Driver

We are hiring a professional HGV Driver for our PLANT HIRE DELIVERY team.

• Operate heavy goods vehicles, including flatbed and low loader trucks, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
• Deliver plant and machinery promptly and securely to various locations, ensuring timely arrivals.
• Perform pre-journey vehicle inspections and report any issues.
• Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding schedules and delays.
• Assist with loading and unloading when necessary.

Qualifications: Valid HGV licence (Class 2 required, Class 1 preferred), minimum 2 years relevant experience, good knowledge of road safety, and a clean driving record. Must be physically fit and organized.

Work is Monday to Friday, with rotational Saturdays, no nights out. Pay ranges from £12.58 to £25.00 per hour.
