Lecturer A - Health and Social Care

Bolton College

The College is looking to appoint a 12Lecturer A’s in Health and Social Care to teach across the Level 1 to Level 3 provision. You will be responsible for managing the learning process to ensure high quality provision leading to individual student success.

Ideally, you will:

Hold a relevant professional qualification (minimum Level 3)
Possess a PGCE / Cert. Ed. Level 5 teaching qualification or a willingness to work towards
Hold GCSEs in English and maths at grade 4/C or above or equivalent
Have experience of working within the Health and Social Care sector
Have experience of leading of leading students to the successful completion of their course
Have excellent interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to manage and prioritise

Day-to-day responsibilities

Ability to communicate with a range of young people and adults on both theoretical and practical aspects
Demonstrate the ability to build good relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders, including students and employers
Demonstrate values and behaviours suitable to work with students and within the team
To implement creative and inspirational teaching and learning strategies
Work under pressures with changing priorities with good organisational and administrative skills
As an individual you will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk, and will therefore be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check
