We are seeking an experienced Digital Communications Officer to lead and deliver digital communications in the Department of Politics and International Studies at the University of Warwick. This full-time, permanent role is responsible for the development of the Department’s digital communications strategy, and the planning, creation and delivery of content on a day-to-day basis on a wide range of digital channels. The role is central to our student recruitment, education and research strategy and priorities.

Embedded in a vibrant community of 120+ staff and 1,300+ students this role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in one of the UK’s leading departments of politics and international studies. About You

You are a creative and strategic digital communications professional who thrives on shaping how an organisation tells its story online.

You enjoy taking ownership of websites and social media channels, using insight and analytics to continually enhance reach, engagement and impact.

You have a flair for translating complex ideas into clear, engaging content that resonates with a wide range of audiences, from prospective students to academic stakeholders.

You are confident working with CMS platforms and bring a solid understanding of AEO/SEO, accessibility and user experience.

You are organised, delivery-focused and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You build strong, collaborative relationships, are proactive and curious, motivated to identify new opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
