WE ARE HIRING – Electrical Project Manager / Non-Working Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager / Non-Working Supervisor to join our team on a major new electrical infrastructure project in the South of the UK.
This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role on a significant installation package involving the installation and termination of thousands of metres of SWA sub-main cable, ranging from 4 Core 25mm² SWA through to 4 Core 240mm² SWA.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing site operations, coordinating labour and programme requirements, maintaining high safety and quality standards, and ensuring works are delivered efficiently and on schedule.
Location: South of the UK
Start Date: End of June / Beginning of July
Duration: Approximately 5 Months
Contract Position

Competitive Rate – Dependent on Experience
The Role
You will act as the site lead / non-working supervisor, taking ownership of the day-to-day management of electrical installation activities. Working closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients, you will ensure works are delivered safely, professionally, and in line with programme requirements.
Supervising day-to-day electrical site activities and installation teams
Managing the pulling, installation, and termination of SWA sub-main cables
Coordinating labour, plant, materials, and site logistics
Monitoring project progress and maintaining programme delivery
Conducting toolbox talks, RAMS reviews, and regular site inspections
Ensuring strict compliance with Health & Safety procedures and quality standards
Liaising with clients, principal contractors, and project management teams
Producing progress updates, maintaining site records, and managing project documentation
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for a proactive, organised, and technically competent individual with:
Proven experience in Electrical Project Management and/or Non-Working Electrical Supervision
Strong background within commercial and industrial electrical installations
Demonstrable experience delivering SWA cable and sub-main infrastructure projects
Strong understanding of site coordination, programme management, and H&S compliance
SMSTS qualification preferred
ECS / CSCS card required
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
Up-to-date IT competency, including proficiency in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office for reporting, communication, and document control.
This role would suit an individual who is comfortable managing large-scale electrical works, leading site teams, and maintaining strong client and contractor relationships within a live construction environment.
