Accounts Administrator & Stock Inventory Controller (Permanent, Full-Time)

£25,000–£27,000 per annum + performance-related bonus (OTE up to £30K)

Wilmslow, Cheshire (100% office-based)

Monday–Friday, 9:00–17:00 (with some flexibility)

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and organised Accounts Administrator with experience in stock control to join a well-established, family-run business in Wilmslow. This is a diverse, hands-on role, offering exposure to both finance and office administration.

You’ll have the opportunity to manage accounts-related duties, liaise with customers and suppliers, handle stock management, and support general office operations. If you thrive in a structured yet varied environment and enjoy combining financial and organisational tasks, this could be the perfect role for you.

What We’re Looking For

A calm, professional individual who can bring precision, efficiency, and teamwork to the role. Essential skills include:

  • Strong accountancy and finance knowledge (experience with SAGE and invoicing)
  • Sales order processing experience
  • Stock/inventory management experience
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • A dependable team player comfortable in a small team environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts administration including accounts payable/receivable, credit control, and sales & purchase ledger management
  • Processing employee expenses
  • Sales order processing
  • Stock management: receiving, packaging, and dispatching goods; liaising with clients and suppliers
  • Maintaining and updating the company’s in-house finance system
  • Handling general administrative tasks and customer communication via email, phone, MS Teams, and face-to-face interactions
