FOH/ Events Manager

Are you the kind of person who can keep a wedding running smoothly, a corporate event on schedule, and still find time to greet guests with a smile? If so, we would love to meet you.
We are looking for an experienced Front of House & Events manager to join our small team at the Guildhall. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being at the heart of the action and takes pride in delivering exceptional events from start to finish.
What you will be doing
-Oversee the smooth operation of all FOH activities.
-Manage and coordinate a wide range of events, from intimate celebrations to large-scale functions.
-Ensure guests receive a warm welcome and outstanding service.
-Lead by example and support the team in event setup, service and breakdown.
-Work closely with clients, suppliers and staff to ensure every event exceeds expectations.
-Rolling up your sleeves when needed – this role includes occasional light furniture moving and event set-up duties.
What we are looking for
-A proven experience in managing events, with a strong knowledge of wedding and corporate events being essential.
-Excellent organisational and communication skills.
-A positive can-do attitude and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
-Someone who enjoys being hands-on rather than being stuck behind a desk.
-Weekend availability is a must, as that’s when many of the celebrations happen.
