Apprentice Finance Assistant

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-driven

Apprentice Finance Assistant to join our team at Net World Sports. As one of the UK’s leading and fastest-growing sports e-commerce businesses, we’ve seen incredible success in recent years - and our Finance team plays a critical role in keeping that momentum going.

This is a brilliant opportunity to learn lots of new skills, get stuck into a wide variety of tasks, and gain real exposure across multiple areas of finance. You’ll be right at the heart of the business, supporting key processes that keep everything running smoothly, while building valuable experience in a high-performing, ambitious environment.

What You’ll Do

• Processing invoices, matching purchase orders, and maintaining accurate financial records
• Reconciling supplier accounts, payment platforms, and company credit cards
• Supporting credit control – chasing payments and resolving queries
• Managing the accounts inbox and liaising with internal teams
• Producing reports and identifying opportunities to improve processes
• Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks

What You'll Bring

• Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
• Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Confident communicator with great interpersonal skills
• Good IT skills, particularly Excel (NAV experience is a bonus)
• A positive, “can-do” attitude and willingness to learn
