We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
Process Officer to join our busy Processing Team, on a 12 month temporary basis. This role plays a key part in supporting the enforcement of environmental legislation through the effective administration of Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) and Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs). As a Process Officer, you will be responsible for processing FPNs and PCNs related to a wide range of environmental crime offences. You will assist with managing challenges, handling payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. The role also includes supporting the administration of permits and other related documentation. In addition to these core duties, you will conduct a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Processing Team. You will work closely with colleagues and the team manager to deliver both processing and enforcement functions to a high standard.
Your remit will be mainly office based and you will have experience of using and maintaining databases, including payments from a customer base. The successful candidate will also be working closely within parking processing. The role will provide many opportunities to gain experience a wide range of environmental issues and make a positive contribution to the borough. We are looking for someone who is competent, high performing, self-motivated and can work well as part of a busy team. Securing compliance and, where necessary, enforcement is integral to the role, and we are looking to recruit someone who can demonstrate recent experience of delivering relevant successful enforcement outcomes.
