Vale View Primary School currently has an exciting opportunity to recruit class teachers. We are looking for

enthusiastic and effective class teachers to work in either EYFS, KS1 or KS2, depending on experience.

The ideal candidates will have experience of working in a primary school, and a good knowledge of the Early

Years Foundation Stage, the National Curriculum and SEND Code of Practice. You will work with our caring

and dedicated team to support children’s learning and social development by providing high quality learning

opportunities and care. One position will be permanent and one position will be fixed term.

Vale View Primary is a larger than average school situated at the heart of the local community.

About you

You will be an excellent classroom practitioner, with a child centred vision of education, who is able to

engage and enthuse children in their learning

You will have a good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and National Curriculum

You will have high expectations, excellent behaviour management skills and the ability to establish

positive adult-pupil relationships

You will have knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and have experience of working to support

children who have special educational needs

You will have excellent literacy, numeracy and IT skills

You will be committed, motivated, enthusiastic and flexible

You will enjoy working as part of a team

You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in partnership

with parents, staff and outside agencies

You will have a sound knowledge of safeguarding

Have a commitment to after school clubs and activities and the broader curriculum
