Salaried GP – up to £11,750 per session | BMA workload and conditions | Training Practice

Well-established GP Training Practice seeking a Salaried GP for 4-6 sessions in the Chester-le-Street area. This is a highly organised practice with strong MDT support, advanced triage systems and a culture built around ensuring your role as a GP is not just manageable, but enjoyable.

Salary & Benefits

• £11,000 – £11,750 depending on experience
• BMA model contract
• Indemnity paid
• NHS Pension
• 6 weeks annual leave
• 1 week study leave
• Partnership prospects for those interested

Workload & Structure

• 6 sessions to include a Friday
• 15-minute appointments throughout
• Max 25 patients per day, including on-call days which run like normal days except solely same-day
• Coffee break every morning
• Sufficient time allocated to home visits
• No evenings or weekends required
• Working to BMA session lengths – genuine 8hr30 working day

You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list.

• Established GP Training Practice with multiple trainers
• Strong MDT including ANPs, Pharmacists and Mental Health
• Mixed patient demographic offering good clinical variety
• EMIS Web
• Purpose-built premises which remain fit for purpose
• Encouraging of special interests with minor surgery top of their wishlist
