Youth Worker (Self-Employed) – Music Technology ClubOrganisation: Pop Arts (UK Registered Charity)Location: The Seagull Theatre, PakefieldHours: Saturdays, 10:00am – 1:00pmContract: Self-employed, 20 sessionsFee: £100 per sessionPop Arts is seeking a motivated and reliable Youth Worker to support our Group Leader at a Saturday morning music technology club based in Pakefield. This is an exciting opportunity to work creatively with young people in a supportive and inclusive environment.About the RoleYou will assist in delivering engaging music technology sessions, supporting young people to explore creativity through digital music production. The role includes helping set up equipment, guiding participants, and ensuring a safe and positive space for all attendees.Essential Requirements

  • Experience working with young people
  • Practical experience using Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) software (ideally Logic Pro and/or GarageBand)
  • Ability to set up and operate audio equipment, including audio interfaces, MIDI keyboards, and microphones (training can be provided)
Safeguarding Requirements
  • A fully enhanced DBS check is required
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training is essential
