About the Role

As a Workshop Coffee Machine Engineer, you’ll be primarily workshop-based and responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a range of coffee equipment to the highest standards.

Your work will be a mix of:

• Planned, preventative servicing (annual maintenance and inspections)
• Reactive repairs and fault-finding

You’ll approach every job with a focus on minimising waste and reducing unnecessary parts usage, aligned with our BCorp values and commitment to responsible business practices.

You’ll collaborate closely with:

• A small team of field engineers
• Our wholesale team
• The service desk, who coordinate bookings and customer queries

You’ll also support logistics, scheduling, stock control, and ordering, making this a varied and hands-on role.

Training & Development

We’re committed to helping you grow. You’ll receive:

• Manufacturer-led training (on and off site)
• In-house coaching and shadowing
• Ongoing development opportunities

Occasional overnight stays may be required for external training.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who combines technical skill with a great attitude and strong work ethic. You’ll bring:

• A logical and methodical approach to fault-finding
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to work independently while staying connected to the team
• A positive, motivated, and reliable mindset
• A commitment to excellent customer service

Skills & Experience

• At least 2 years’ experience working with traditional espresso machines, bean-to-cup machines and water boilers
• Good electro-mechanical knowledge
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals
• A full, clean UK driving licence (occasional requirement to drive company vehicles).
