About The Role

The Deskside EUC (End User Computing) engineer provides on-site technical support for end-user devices and services, focusing on hardware, software, and IT infrastructure in office environments. This role combines hands-on remote and deskside assistance with incident management to ensure minimal downtime for users

Accountabilities

• Deliver deskside support, including hardware installation, moves, adds, changes (IMAC), and troubleshooting for PCs, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices.
• Prioritise tasks for rapid incident resolution, collaborating with resolver groups and colleagues to escalate recurring issues and implement fixes.
• Manage incident and service request queues, resolving tickets remotely and in person deskside to meet SLAs and escalating to higher tiers as needed.
• Perform user administration (joiners, leavers, changes), asset management, and support for desktop applications.
• Manage and maintain meeting room AV equipment and setups.
• Ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory standards and applicable policies and guidelines.

About You

• Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, anticipating challenges and developing effective solutions.
• Advanced proficiency and troubleshooting in Windows 10/11, Active Directory, M365, SCCM/Intune, scripting (PowerShell/VBScript)
• Clear communication skillscapable of conveying technical details and instructions effectively to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrable commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous service improvement.
• Excellent customer service, communication to explain technical issues simply, and ability to handle multiple priorities or on-call shifts.builtinlondon+1
• 2+ years in IT support, ideally deskside EUC roles or Service desk
• Experience with remote support via Teams.
• Soft skills: Problem-solving, documentation, and proactive process improvements
• Provide on-site “Hands & Eyes” service to 3 party Wintel and network support service provider.
