The role

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Product Owner to join Robert Walters as a Consultant.

As a Consultant, you will benefit from permanent employment with Robert Walters and will be deployed on an assignment within our clients' organisations, in return we will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills with ongoing training and professional support.

What You'll Do

To succeed as a Product Owner in this role, you will bring experience delivering complex digital products through their full lifecycle, with exposure to AI-driven solutions in corporate environments, ideally improving digital customer journeys. You will be skilled in data analysis, turning insights into clear, actionable product decisions. Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills are essential, along with experience working in Agile teams. A strong interest in AI trends and a focus on delivering excellent user experiences will be key to your success.

• Define and drive product vision, strategy, and roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional teams, aligned to business and customer needs.
• Manage and prioritise the product backlog using data-driven insights, opportunity sizing, and gap analysis to maximise value delivery.
• Lead the full product lifecycle from discovery through delivery, launch, and continuous optimisation.
• Build strong stakeholder partnerships across business and technology teams to ensure alignment and effective execution.
• Identify and shape opportunities for innovation, including AI-enabled capabilities and emerging digital technologies.
• Oversee complex technical products and integrations within enterprise systems, ensuring stability and scalability.
• Facilitate agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Champion customer-centric design by iterating features based on feedback and usage insights.
• Support digital transformation initiatives by aligning product delivery with organisational strategy.

What You Bring

• 3-5 years' experience in product management or product ownership with proven delivery impact
• Strong understanding of full product lifecycle management
• Proven ability to refine backlogs effectively through opportunity sizing and gap analysis methodologies.
• Strong data-driven decision-making and analytical skills
• Experience delivering AI-enabled products in corporate/digital environments, with Holistic foundational knowledge of AI, awareness of emerging AI trends and applications
• Ability to manage technically complex products and integrations
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management in complex organizations, with ability to align teams and support product strategy
• Practical experience in agile or lean product development environments including backlog management at scale.
• Track record managing technically complex products or system integrations within large organisations.
• Customer-centric approach focused on intuitive, high-impact user experiences
