We are seeking to expand our hourly paid Lecturer pool and invite applications from enthusiastic, skilled, and industry-experienced professionals across a range of subject areas.

As part of our hourly paid Lecturer pool, you will deliver high-quality teaching and learning on an ad hoc basis to support curriculum delivery across the College. Opportunities may arise across a variety of subject areas, depending on business needs.
You will play a key role in supporting student success, delivering engaging sessions, and contributing to a positive learning experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching sessions in your specialist subject area
- Prepare and adapt learning materials to meet learner needs
- Assess student work and provide constructive feedback
- Support student progress, engagement, and achievement
- Maintain accurate academic records as required
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Comply with college policies, including safeguarding and health & safety
Essential
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Relevant qualification or significant industry experience in your subject area
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage and motivate learners
- Strong organisational skills
- Commitment to equality, diversity, and safeguarding
Desirable
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
- Experience teaching in Further Education or training environments
- Knowledge of current curriculum and assessment practices

If you do not hold one of the above qualifications, you will fall into our Unqualified Lecturer salary banding (£26,661 - £29,998).
