Your Job


We are seeking a dynamic and highly collaborative Proposals Lead to join our Project Management team at Phillips Medisize – GID-UK. This is a pivotal role that combines strategic oversight with hands-on proposal writing to drive new business growth. Reporting to the Head of Project Management, you will work across multiple functions to coordinate new business activities, shape competitive proposals and quotations, and ensure timely, high-quality client deliverables.

  • Lead coordination of internal stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) from initial business opportunity through to proposal submission.
  • Capture and disseminate clear and comprehensive meeting minutes from opportunity assessments, ensuring alignment and momentum.
  • Define roles, responsibilities, and timelines for proposal development across technical and commercial contributors.
  • Drive the creation of accurate and persuasive pricing and scope documentation, ensuring all assumptions and third-party costs are clearly articulated.
  • Facilitate transparent communication between internal teams and clients to ensure deliverables align with expectations and capabilities.
  • Challenge internal and external assumptions where necessary to ensure high-quality, timely, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Delivery Management Office (DMO) to forecast resources and revenue associated with new business, escalating risks as needed.
  • Maintain accurate data within the Sales application for tracking opportunity success metrics (Won/Lost KPIs).
  • Continuously improve internal proposal processes based on feedback and outcomes, enhancing win rates and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure client-facing and internal proposal documents are stored and managed securely, with appropriate access and disposal protocols.



Who You Are


  • Degree-qualified (or equivalent experience) in a scientific or numerate discipline
  • Proven experience writing contracts or technical proposals
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively across business functions
  • Strong sense of accountability and integrity, with a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint)



What Will Put You Ahead


  • Experience in pharmaceutical product development, particularly inhalation-based therapies
  • Prior experience within a CDMO environment, specifically in writing technical proposals or quotes
  • Previous client-facing experience in a commercial or delivery function
