Job Description
We are looking for calm and resourceful support workers to join our friendly team in Tonbridge. You will be supporting one adult to live his life the way he wants to. He enjoys being out and about swimming, trampolining, and going for long drives. He also loves Shrek, music, dancing and being tickled.
You will be part of a team that works closely with his family and professionals to enable him to be happy, healthy and to be successful in achieving his wishes and aspirations.

It has an Ofsted Grade 2 Good rating and an overall achievement rate of 71.4%, exceeding the national average of 65.6%. Using a blended approach, learners are always at the forefront of our priorities. All learners are assigned a Personal Tutor who will be their main point of contact.
This involves regular catch-ups, check-in emails and calls. Your employer will agree to give you 20% of your working hours solely towards your study.
This will give you every chance to achieve the highest grade possible! On completion of this 12 month apprenticeship you will have gained; Adult Care Worker – Level 2 Apprenticeship

- Provide 2:1 person-centred support to an individual in their home and community, promoting independence, wellbeing, and meaningful engagement.
- Support the individual in daily routines, activities, and interests including swimming, trampolining, dancing, and leisure drives.
- Encourage participation in fun and sensory activities, such as music, games, and favourites like Shrek and tickling, to build positive connections and enjoyment.
- Collaborate closely with family members and professionals to ensure care and support plans reflect the individual's needs, aspirations, and preferences.
- Assist with personal care tasks sensitively and respectfully.
- Promote communication by using assistive technology, symbols, or alternative methods tailored to the individual's needs.
- Help maintain a safe, relaxed, and structured home environment where the individual feels secure and supported.
- Respond to and manage behaviours positively, using guidance from senior staff and established support strategies.
