We have an excellent 12 months fixed term opportunity for a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our West Leicestershire Neighbourhood Community Mental Health Team within the directorate of Adult Mental Health. The Team is based on two sites in Hinckley, the Orchard Resource Centre on Hill Street and Hynca Lodge, on Tudor Road. Please note that the successful candidate will need to alternate to provide a service to both sites as required.
This is a full-time role and you will be working 37.5 hours Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm
The Team provides comprehensive support to adults with mental health problems. And consists of nurses; medics; Occupational Therapists and Psychologists.
As a Receptionist/ Administration Assistant for the West Leicestershire Team you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive administration service to a specific area of the mental health team which will include supporting a clinical team. The main duties will be around the provision of an effective; efficient and friendly front of house reception service, meeting health professionals; contractors; patients; relatives and visitors. You will need to be quick thinking whilst working within policies and guidelines.
This is a diverse role and you will be working in a busy and fast paced environment within a team that value and support each other.

Job Description Summary (Main Duties And Responsibilities)
You will be processing referrals, data inputting, supporting the wider teams as per service needs and other general administration duties. For this you will require good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, excellent IT skills and highly organised with good planning skills.
The role includes telephone and written correspondence with patients, Service Users, liaising with family members/carers, GPs and other primary care services, other external NHS services or partner agencies, such as Social Care and the Police.
