Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Radiographer based at University Hospital Ayr.

What You Will Do

University Hospital Ayr is looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated Radiographers to join our friendly team. Applicants should have a wide range of general radiographic experience and will preferably have suitable and significant post graduate experience. The successful candidate should be an innovative, highly motivated radiographer with good communication and team working skills. Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job

The ideal candidate must demonstrate a commitment to professional development and show a keen interest in the future of their profession and the Diagnostic Imaging services. They will be expected to support both the service and its staff in continuing to maintain and develop the highest standards of imaging. You will be involved in departmental audit activities and excellent communication and team working skills are essential. In return the successful applicant will be offered a high standard of support towards their career pathway. It is essential you have a BSc (Hons) or equivalent in Diagnostic Radiography / Imaging Services with current registration with the HCPC. Our department actively promotes a positive culture of CPD. An up-to-date Continuing Personal Development portfolio is required. Base Hospital is University Hospital Ayr but you may be asked to work on other sites within NHS Ayrshire & Arran.
