Job Description Summary
You will be responsible for supervising all logistics activities of the main wind turbine components within the Hub including activities such as site transit, lifting activities, time management, mobilization/demobilization to achieve the Customer & GE OFW goals and objectives in terms of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
You are part of the Project Management Office (PMO)—Marshalling Harbor department—in a cross-functional role and reporting directly to the Heavy Lift package Manager.
You will demonstrate excellent communication, proactivity, and in-depth knowledge in the field of logistical management.
You will lead a group of mechanical operators in charge of stevedoring activities, rigging management and components preparation for load-out.

The position will be based at the project site in Inverness, UK starting January 2026. Part of the assignment will be located at Able Seaton, ahead of January 2026 for onsite training and blending with the site team.

Key Responsibilities
- Direct logistical activities to achieve customer and GE Offshore Wind objectives.
- Enforce and apply the highest level of EHS standards.
- Monitor vessel berthing, arrival, and departure times.
- Collaborate with customs brokers and shipping companies for supply chain efficiency.
- Ensure all EHS requirements and documentation are met and in order prior to operations.
- Assist in visual inspections and manage inspection reports.
- Update IT systems with required documentation post-operations.
- Write Daily Progress Reports and issue weekly inventory reports.
- Coordinate reverse logistics and track GE property.
- Confirm availability of tooling, material, PPE, and personnel certifications.
- Advise on major issues affecting EHS, commercial, or scheduling aspects.
- Support project execution planning to achieve loadout of GE components.
- Facilitate daily plans and lookahead with subcontractor personnel.
- Provide progress tracking reports for internal reviews.
- Manage complaints, disputes, risks, and opportunities related to logistics.
- Knowledge of transport and lifting local regulations.
- Strong interpersonal skills to bridge internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly motivated and committed to excellent project execution.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in data recording and document management.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
- Experience in port operations with multinational teams and subcontractor workforce.
- Excellent PC and Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Project.
- Maritime exposure.
