Position Overview
Job description – Motion Graphic Designer
As a Tecna Motion Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually engaging and dynamic animations, videos, and graphics that communicate complex ideas and concepts. You will have a background of working in an agency environment (ideally an events-based background) being able to demonstrate a strong understanding of design principles, animation techniques, and software tools such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Cinema 4D.
As an accomplished Motion Graphic Designer, you maintain high visual standards, and a strong attention to detail, client, audience, story, and context will be responsible for producing a wide range of animation and motion content for social media, campaigns, and events display sequences in the event sector on a day-to-day basis, with a strong focus on attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
Good layouts and graphic designs
- Responsible for the day-to-day look and consistency of motion graphic storytelling, communicate the vision set out by the project sponsor to the broader set of editorial partners within the organisation
- Produce creative designs in conjunction with the creative team that aim to exceed client’s expectations
- Interpreting client or internal requirements from a creative brief
- Guide motion graphic contributor submissions from through creative feedback and education
- Provide brand stewardship, and hands on design and animation for projects
- Build relationships and collaborate with cross departmental sponsors (marketing, and sales) to bring engaging narratives to life through technical motion design projects
- Work closely with the creative team to ensure assets meet brand, technical and aesthetic standards as well as align to business goals
- Work closely with the creative team, marketing team and Head of Creative to ensure that projects are on track, on budget and in-line with their expectations
- Keep up to date with current design trends and learn new design disciplines
- Follow tasks list set in conjunction with the Head of Creative
- Communicating workload and any slippage to Head of Creative

Essential
Skills and Experience:
- Agency and or Event sector experience delivering high quality, motion graphics and video
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, and Audition
- Experienced in producing web-based graphics
- Commercial awareness
- Ability to present information clearly and concisely
- Good level of computer literacy and experience working on Microsoft applications
- Proven organisational skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a customer focused manner
- Can demonstrate the ability to carry out tasks within set timeframes
- Self-prioritise workload according to the business needs
- Excellent time management skills
- Illustrative skills
- Experience of producing animations for web use
- Experience in using Azure/XD or similar UX/UI software applications would be beneficial
