Role Overview:

The Accounts Receivable Manager within the finance team is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, credit management, and collections. This role involves managing customer accounts, resolving queries, and maintaining financial records. The Accounts Receivable Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining cash flow, conducting credit checks, and improving invoicing and collection procedures.

As a Accounts Receivable Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Transactional Invoicing: Manage and implement all aspects of transactional invoicing.
  • Credit Requests: Handle all aspects of credit requests, including issuing credit notes.
  • Aged Debt Review: Conduct aged debt reviews, particularly for key accounts such as Barclays.
  • Cash Flow Updates: Regularly update cash flow statements.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations for Infinity Technology Solutions.
  • Customer Queries: Manage and resolve customer queries efficiently.
  • Customer Records: Create and update customer records in internal company systems.
  • Credit Checks: Conduct credit checks on all customers, establish and manage credit limits.
  • Direct Debit Management: Manage the direct debit system and collection process.
  • Customer Statements: Maintain and send out customer statements.
  • Accounts Payable Coverage: Cover accounts payable duties when necessary.
  • Administration Issues: Deal with companies that have gone into administration.
  • Process Improvement: Make recommendations to improve the quality of invoicing and collection procedures.
  • Monthly Reporting: Prepare monthly reports on aged debt, cash receipts, invoice adjustments, and direct debit performance.
