Beyond one-time events, Social Friday is designed to scale into a lasting global movement, embedding social impact into work culture and everyday life.


How It Works

A scalable platform connects businesses, NGOs, and volunteers, transforming Fridays into a global force for change through engagement, collaboration, and gamification. By integrating leaderboards, challenges, badges, and rewards, Social Friday keeps participation exciting and fosters a culture where social impact becomes part of the routine.


This isn’t just about reducing disengagement. At Social Friday, we’re turning unproductive Friday afternoons into something extraordinary. With purpose driven events around the world, we’re building a lifestyle of connection, awareness, and action.


To make impact go viral, we need you. Someone who knows how to spark conversations and grow a community online.


We’re looking for a social media-savvy storyteller who lives and breathes content, understands platform dynamics (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok), and knows how to engage a global audience with authenticity, creativity, and consistency. You’ll play a key role in shaping how the world sees, feels, and joins the Social Friday movement.

YOUR ROLE

  • As our Social Media & Community Engagement Lead, you will:
  • Plan, create, and publish engaging content across Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok in line with the SOCIAL FRIDAY brand guidelines
  • Develop and manage a content calendar that aligns with our storytelling, campaigns, and key moments
  • Respond to comments, messages, and interactions to build an active and supportive online community
  • Collaborate closely with the design and content teams to ensure visual and tonal consistency
  • Use analytics and insights to track performance, refine strategies, and boost engagement
  • Spot trends early and creatively adapt them to the Social Friday context
  • Support event coverage and turn community moments into compelling digital stories
  • Act as a bridge between our offline impact and online presence, making real-life stories resonate across the globe


WHAT YOU BRING

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts and growing engaged communities
  • Strong understanding of content formats, engagement strategies, and platform-specific best practices
  • A passion for meaningful communication and purpose-driven content
  • Excellent writing skills with a feel for tone, timing, and storytelling
  • Familiarity with tools like Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign + Manager, or scheduling platforms (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar)
  • Creative thinking, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude
