This is an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist to join the Antimicrobial Pharmacy Team delivering clinical pharmacy services to inpatients and outpatients. You will also be an integral member of the multidisciplinary team supporting antimicrobial stewardship work across all healthcare services in NHS Tayside.

The Antimicrobial Pharmacy Team in NHS Tayside has driven antimicrobial stewardship for over 20 years and is a well established and respected specialist pharmacy service with responsibility for NHS Tayside antimicrobial website (link ).

You must be working towards advanced practice or have experience to an equivalent level and you will be supported to develop and enhance skills across the pillars of advanced practice clinical practice, education, leadership and research. You must also be an excellent team player who is either a registered Independent Prescriber or working towards the qualification.

The post holder will be required to contribute to the on-call, weekend and public holiday rotas as per service requirements.

Hours of work are: 22.2 hours worked over a 7 day week.

For applicants looking for a full time role there is an opportunity to combine this with 14.8hrs per week within the Dundee General Practice Clinical Pharmacy team. This role will involve working with GPs and the primary care multidisciplinary teams to improve medicines management and deliver excellent patient care.
