Your role at BRE
This role is central to the day-to-day operation and management of the BRE Garston Estate. It supports the delivery of high-quality facilities services by overseeing the Estates Helpdesk System and coordinating both planned and reactive maintenance activities.
Key responsibilities and tasks include:
- Managing the Estates Helpdesk System to ensure effective logging, tracking and resolution of maintenance requests
- Coordinating and monitoring planned and reactive maintenance works across the estate
- Liaising with internal teams and external service partners to ensure timely and quality delivery of services
- Ensuring maintenance activities align with agreed SLAs and KPIs
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting on estates performance and service metrics
- Supporting compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across the site
- Applying technical knowledge of building services and systems to resolve operational issues efficiently
- Utilising CAFM and estates software to support estate operations and continuous improvement initiatives
- Demonstrable experience working within an estates operations or facilities maintenance role
- Relevant vocational qualification (BTEC/NVQ) or working towards a qualification in facilities management or building services
- Familiarity with compliance standards relating to building maintenance and safety
- Professional and polite manner with a strong customer focus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and tenants at all levels
- Confidence in clearly communicating departmental processes while understanding and empathising with the needs of others
- Excellent IT skills, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Good working knowledge of CAFM and estates management software packages
- A methodical approach with strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

Work Location
On-Site – This role requires full-time presence at our Watford office. You must live within a commutable distance.
