JOB TITLE: OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

12 months fixed term contract on ALBA FSU on a 2/3 rota

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accepting applications for the position of Operations Coordinator, located offshore.
  • Co-ordinates the safe and efficient operation of the marine, process and utilities systems.
  • Lead role for management of safe work and Area Authority within Integrated Safe System of Work (ISSOW).
  • Provide visible safety leadership.
  • Highlight threats and opportunities and takes appropriate action.
  • Ensuring work scopes are carried out in accordance with Company Management System, and in compliance with Installation Safety Case & Statutory Legislation.
  • Provide first line supervision, guidance and work direction for the installation’s operations and maintenance teams, and specialist vendors.
  • Works alongside the Operations and Maintenance Supervisors to support delivery of 7-day plan, ensuring efficient execution of maintenance plans alongside safe operations.
  • Responsible for co-ordination of first line maintenance and troubleshooting, ensuring multi skilled resource within the Operations & Maintenance Teams are fully utilised.
  • Engaging with and support the onshore support teams as required to deliver the asset plan.
  • Radiation Protection Supervisor duties.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Proven upstream experience required, preferably in a similar role covering offshore operations and control of work.
  • Experience in frontline leadership on an offshore facility.
  • FPSO Tanker experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Good working knowledge of control of work processes.
  • Experienced in the use of maintenance management systems e.g. SAP or maximo.
  • Coach and mentor direct reports for performance and development.
  • Proactive approach to HE&S initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to set priorities for the team.
  • Good communication and influencing skills with proven ability to foster positive teamwork.
  • Technical proficiency in standard IT programs.
  • Area Authority experience within Integrated Safe System of Work (ISSOW).
