About The Role

We’re looking for a Credit Controller to join our Finance team on a 15-18 month fixed term, maternity cover contract. In this key role, you will work closely with our finance team, clients and internal colleagues ensuring credit is paid on time.

This will be a 15-18 month fixed term contract, working part-time 3 days per week. You will be based at our Aberdeen office in Dyce, working a hybrid working pattern.

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for ensuring customers pay on time.
  • Chasing customers for payments and managing overdue accounts.
  • Resolving any customer queries or disputes.
  • Review account balances highlighting any overdue accounts with relevant Managers.
  • Daily bank reconciliation.
  • Preparing and sending monthly statements.
  • Weekly aged debt reports.
  • Managing the Square payment system – processing payments, adding new products to system and conducting training with admin team.
  • Assist Billing Team with invoicing as and when required.

  • Excellent customer service
  • Analytical skills and thorough attention to detail
  • Ability to listen and negotiate with customers.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Previous experience with Xero preferred.
