Description


Woodbourne Priory Hospital is looking to recruit a Associate Director of Clinical Services - Interim role for 6 to 9 Months to join the team. This is a full time role of 37.5 hours.

Woodbourne hospital provides a diverse range of inpatient services. These include acute and psychiatric intensive care services for adults. A specialist adult Eating Disorder service and a private addictions service. Across seven wards, our multi-disciplinary teams deliver personalised treatment programmes to our patients and have established an excellent reputation for providing the highest standards of care


What you'll be doing


You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. While your role doesn’t involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here
  • The Associate DoCS plays a key part in developing and delivering the Hospital Quality strategy, providing clinical leadership to the team.
  • Alongside the HD & DoCs support site and in preparing for announced regulatory inspections, and Contractual requirements.
  • Ensures delivery of the highest level of clinical and therapeutic care together with ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and current legislation, meeting quality standards and delivering against quality performance indicators.

The ideal candidate will be registered with either the NMC or HCPC (depending on service needs) and will demonstrate significant professional development in quality, audit, and risk management. They will have strong report writing skills, a passion for high-quality care and patient experience, and excellent organisational and decision-making abilities. With a proactive, forward-thinking approach, they will bring experience in leading and implementing quality initiatives, project management, and working at a managerial level within a health or social care setting. Strong leadership, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to influence change are essential.
