The Menu Partners is recruiting a Transport Coordinator to take responsibility for transport operations running from London. Supporting the Transport and operations in a fast-paced delivery environment This is a great opportunity for someone to join a fantastic business that is part of a major group, supplying some of the best-known brands on the planet!
Overview of Role:
In this position, you will be responding to drivers issues and help resolve delivery issues in real time. Carrying out administrative functions for the transport team. Assisting the operations team with vehicle and route allocation and problem solving.
Principle Accountabilities:
- Ensure that all deliveries are made and any issue reported.
- Keying on hours for payroll and agency costings.
- Keeping the handover spreadsheets accurate and up to date
- Monitoring and responding to emails and ensuring effective communication to other departments
- Upholding departmental compliance by consistently completing relevant spreadsheets.
- Reporting accidents to insurers and Transport manager.
- Briefing and debriefing of drivers recording accordingly.
- Taking a proactive approach
- Scanning and saving delivery images.
- Driver cover for routes in event of last minute absence
Key Attributes:
- Good communication skills
- Self-motivated and reliable team player.
- Skilled with Excel and confident with using computers.
- Experience within a fast pace, multi-drop logistics environment is preferable.
- Ability to take responsibility for your functions and priorities.
- Deal with issues and deescalate confrontations.
Shifts available:
- 12pm-8pm / 8pm-4am
- Saturday-Thursday 5/6
- Sunday-Friday 5/6
