ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Engineer to support the planning, execution, and delivery of actuator and motion control projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, operations and quality, assisting in technical delivery and successful management of all assigned client projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain hands-on project experience in a fast-paced, technically challenging environment.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the coordination and delivery of engineering projects from concept through to completion
• Support project planning, scheduling, and resource management
• Track and report project progress, status and financial performance to senior team members
• Identify project risks and issues, and coordinate effective mitigation actions
• Create and maintain project documentation
• Collaborate with design, procurement, production, testing and logistics, ensuring project commercial, technical and quality requirements are met
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers and suppliers, participating in project meetings to drive task and milestone progress
• Contribute to the continual improvement of company processes
• Maintain compliance with relevant industry standards and company/quality procedures

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in an engineering or relevant technical field
• 1-2 years experience in industry (including internship placements / sandwich years)
• Adept in using software, including MS Office and experience in CAD / Project Management packages, with the ability to learn new software as required
• Flexible working to meet project needs and willingness to travel when required (infrequent)
