LOCATION: London, Cardiff, Bristol, Salford or Glasgow including travel between bases

PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £57,300 - £91,800 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Production Operations Executive to support the Director of Operations in driving operational excellence across the business. This role is pivotal in coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, managing the Production Management Forum, and in leading, supporting and contributing to operational projects that improve our processes and efficiency. You will have proven experience of working in a production management environment to act as a credible partner to our stakeholders.

Your Key Responsibilities And Impact

  • Organise and facilitate our monthly Production Management Forum meetings
  • Act as a liaison between production and our functional support teams, supply chain and compliance areas both in BBC Studios and BBC to ensure Production are kept up to date on new requirements, new initiatives and best practice
  • Support the Operations Director to lead and deliver on a variety of operational projects from initiation to completion working with other functional teams. Previous projects have included creating and implementing a Production Archive policy, assisting with the introduction of new HR systems and working with Audit and Assurance on their programme of Production work including implementing audit actions.

Your Skills And Experience

  • Proven experience in Production Management and in managing projects (including productions) from start to finish
  • Demonstrable experience of leading and driving significant change in a complex environment and of implementing strategy and contributing to its development
  • Understanding of current operational and technical Production processes and delivery requirements

  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities effectively
  • Experience leading cross functional projects
  • Manage interpersonal relationships effectively and work well within a diverse range of teams
  • An interest in modern production techniques, new technologies and an analytical mindset with attention to detail
