LOCATION: BBC Hoddinott Hall, Cardiff – Hybrid
PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £24,700 to £32,000 per annum depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
In this dynamic role, you’ll support the delivery of high-impact marketing campaigns - from shaping creative assets to managing smaller campaigns independently. You'll support the coordination of everything from promotional events and marketing campaigns to digital content and audience communications, ensuring the orchestra’s message reaches the right people in creative and impactful ways.
BBC NOW are seeking someone with hands-on experience in marketing who’s organised, full of ideas, and thrives in a collaborative environment. Strong communication, creativity, and an ability to read music are essential to the role.
This is a fixed term role for six months with the possibility of extension.

The BBC National Orchestra and Chorus of Wales is seeking a confident and creative Marketing Coordinator to help bring outstanding orchestral and choral experiences to audiences across Wales and beyond. In this role, you’ll support exciting music based projects, including Doctor Who soundtracks and music for films and television, to live concerts, community initiatives, and by showcasing the work of BBC NOW’s musicians. If you can read music and are passionate about the arts, this is your chance to join a dedicated BBC marketing team based in Cardiff, working at the heart of arts and music promotion.
Your Key Responsibilities And Impact
Alongside the creative work, you'll handle key business tasks such as raising purchase orders, tracking budgets, and supporting the team with essential admin to keep everything running smoothly.
You’ll play a front-facing role, supporting BBC NOW’s presence at live concerts and events across the UK. From liaising with audiences, to helping deliver memorable in-person experiences, you’ll be a key part of how we connect with the public and share our music.
