Job Description

As part of the Global Client Partnerships team, you will help manage a portfolio of global and/or EMEA focussed client accounts, to ensure Newmark is positioned as the “go-to” business advisor across multiple service lines and geographies. Working closely with client teams to ensure all team members are joined up and aligned to the clients’ business structure and objectives; Newmark’s sector expertise creates competitive edge and to identify and manage opportunities to win new work and deliver growth. From an external client-facing perspective, you will build your own relationships with key client contacts.

In addition, supporting existing and lateral hire partners with the UK client program and joining the client partnerships project team to ensure client management tools and best practice are shared across Newmark’s global business.

Global/EMEA Key Clients

  • Client relationship mapping to align Newmark’s client teams with key client contacts – decision makers/work givers/influencers across teams and locations. Co-ordinate internal client strategy meetings to ensure all team members work together with shared common goals and next step actions.
  • Cross-selling/growth targets – data analysis to understand work done/key team members/opportunities for growth. Gap analysis to identify cross-selling opportunities across team/geographies. Setting global growth targets for each client account. Identify and manage cross-selling opportunities.
  • Internal team co-ordination - Create client portals and keep content updated as the key reference point for all client team members. Manage all agreed actions through a shared and managed client action plan.
  • Client-facing – attend client meetings, arrange strategy days, client reporting, follow up on new business opportunities and update client plans.
  • Staying in touch - Work with central marketing communications teams to put a strategy in place for ongoing client contact – bulletins, updates, presentations, research, industry events, networking, etc. Ensure CRM systems are up to date and GDPR compliant, to track progress.
  • Value-added services - help client teams to identify and innovate value-added services to differentiate the Newmark service offering – service delivery and reporting, flexible resourcing, data analytics, research and opinion pieces, skills and education, cultural alignment/ESG.
  • Centre of excellence for client listening and feedback – encourage regular client feedback with independent reviews, regular relationship meetings, project reviews, secondee reviews, pitch win/loss feedback. Support client leads in producing client-facing documents.
  • Bid and pitch support - use client knowledge to support client presentations and bid support, working with the central bids team and client development managers.
  • International desk – work closely with the team to identify future key clients and to co-ordinate activities across US/EMEA/APAC.
  • Reporting – quarterly reporting to the senior board of Newmark to benchmark and measure success of managed client accounts.

UK Key Client Program – managing a portfolio of UK key clients to increase revenue and profit

  • Manage a portfolio of UK key clients, of strategic importance to Newmark’s UK business. Support the internal client lead/team and help prepare for client review meetings and presentations. Identify cross-selling opportunities and support relationship mapping and client plans.
  • Data analysis of top 250 clients to identify opportunities to cross-sell and broaden client relationships.
  • Supporting the growth team with targeting and cross-selling activities.
  • Liaising with the data analytics team to review client data such as lease renewals to prompt a client team response to win work.
  • Key point of contact for UK client insights/data.
  • Provide induction support for senior laterals hires – client lists, firmwide introductions and general support on managing new business opportunities across existing and new clients.

Client partnerships program project team

  • Implement best practice approach – integral member of the client partnerships project team to create the best practice approach and toolkit on how to manage clients the Newmark way. Roll-out across Newmark’s business.
