We are seeking a Lead Project Manager to drive and manage our client's digital transformation, EHS, and ESG project and programme delivery initiatives. This role blends project management expertise with strategic practices to deliver high-impact projects that enhance operational efficiency, transparency, and accountability across global teams and industries. The Lead Project Manager will work cross-functionally with consultants, expert services, cloud, engineering, and product teams to lead projects focused on optimizing processes, establishing governance, and ensuring sustainable operations.

We are seeking a Lead Project Manager to drive and manage our client's digital transformation, EHS, and ESG project and programme delivery initiatives. This role blends project management expertise with strategic practices to deliver high-impact projects that enhance operational efficiency, transparency, and accountability across global teams and industries. The Lead Project Manager will work cross-functionally with consultants, expert services, cloud, engineering, and product teams to lead projects focused on optimizing processes, establishing governance, and ensuring sustainable operations.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Delivery
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines for digital transformation and ESG initiatives
- Lead the delivery of electronic Permit to Work systems and EHS compliance platforms
- Manage change requests, SOW approvals, and milestone-based delivery
- Facilitate global stakeholder meetings and cross-functional collaboration
- Ensure project documentation, reporting, and governance are maintained to high standards
- Identify and mitigate risks to project timelines or objectives
- Ensure successful project delivery in accordance with project management methods
- Drive small, medium and large implementations across regions, time zones, and cultures
- Align Sales, Legal, Finance, and Tech to ensure every project is commercially sound and technically robust
- Coach and mentor project managers and consultants to ensure delivery excellence
- Maintain operational rigor through governance, risk management, and structured reporting
- Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across teams
- Act as a central point of contact for all projects, communicating regularly with stakeholders
- Write and maintain clear project documentation, best practices, and process guides
- Professionally interact with internal and external stakeholders through various media
- Present project insights and updates to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Participate in recruiting activities and onboarding of new team members
- Represent Wolters Kluwer at industry events and forums
- Perform other duties or special projects as assigned by Director
- Experienced in managing complex, cross-functional projects on time and within budget
- Proficient in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (Jira, MS Project)
- Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and interpreting financial data
- Proficiency in data analysis using Excel, SQL, or BI tools
- Familiarity with scripting or automation (e.g., Python) is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to lead global teams and manage cross-cultural collaboration
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree or relevant industry experience
- Certification in any project methodology is preferable (PMP, Prince2, Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- Leadership & Autonomy
- Manage own workload and priorities
- Complete internal obligations (timesheet, status reports, required training, performance reviews, etc.) 100% on time
- Escalate effectively and when necessary
- Able to provide functional coaching to teams and drive technical discussions with stakeholders
- Positive demeanor while providing solution options to challenges
