Job Description About Our Role

We’re looking for a strategic, data-savvy Comms and Customer Manager to lead high-impact, multi-channel marketing campaigns that engage customers throughout their journey. As a member of our team, you’ll shape and deliver targeted campaigns across email and direct mail that drive connection, retention, and results.


About The Role

As our Comms and Customer Manager, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end campaign strategy and execution ensuring every message is timely, relevant, and performance-driven. You’ll lead on audience segmentation, campaign planning, scheduling, and reporting creating journeys that convert prospects into loyal customers. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you’ll ensure consistent messaging, regulatory compliance, and measurable results across every touchpoint.

Location - Hybrid, 3 days per week out of our Newcastle office.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the planning, execution, and continual optimisation of email and direct mail campaigns.
  • Developing and refining segmentation strategies to deliver personalised, high-impact communications.
  • Driving lifecycle marketing initiatives, including onboarding, nurture, and retention journeys.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align campaign messaging and audience strategy.
  • Owning the performance reporting process, using data to inform and improve campaign decisions.
  • Ensuring full compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other relevant standards while maintaining high deliverability.


Skills And Experience:

  • Proven experience in email marketing, CRM, and lifecycle communications..
  • Strong understanding of segmentation, customer journeys, and personalisation strategies
  • Expertise in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Adobe Campaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
  • A track record of leading integrated campaigns that include direct mail.
  • Confidence in campaign analytics, A/B testing, and performance optimisation.
  • Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
