The management of Bread service contracts, along with modernisation projects for the full range of Baker Perkins existing and legacy equipment
Main Duties
- To provide electro and/or mechanical assistance and expertise to our customers as the first point of contact.
- Undertake customer site visits to execute Aftermarket projects and provide warranty support
- Manage service contract reporting and present performance data to customers in line with the associated KPIs.
- On an ongoing basis, be the Aftermarket representative for key customer accounts developing positive relationships and demonstrating our commitment to Aftermarket excellence
- Promote and grow the aftermarket service contract business though regular communications and customer visits.
- Gather market information, providing continuous feedback on customers and competitors for both AM and Capital Growth.
- Actively project manage Aftermarket contracts in line with business processes and system requirements, considering financial/technical risk, overall contract profitability and customer satisfaction
- Act as the project lead for Aftermarket to deliver contracts in a timely and technically competent way to meet or exceed customer expectations
- Actively liaise with customers both verbally and via email to provide good communication on all aspects of project delivery.
- Resolve customer problems in a timely manner by utilising appropriate resources within the organisation
- Be aware of, and follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures including feeding back on any H&S information to management
- Demonstrate the company values and behaviours
- Ideally, a time-served skilled mechanical engineer (HNC or equivalent); basic electrical knowledge would be beneficial
- Knowledge of existing product range(s) of equipment would be an advantage
- Experience of working on customer sites and dealing with customers
- Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
- Good problem-solving techniques using an analytical approach
- Valid driving licence
- Knowledge of Epicor business system would be an advantage & IT systems
- Basic electrical knowledge would be advantageous
