Job Description Summary

At Impact Handling are actively recruiting for a Depot Administrator to provide full administration support in both service and depot administration activities, and completing various administration tasks with accuracy and efficiency as required by the business.

Person Specification– Depot Administrator

  • Ability to liaise with personnel of all levels – good communication skills.
  • To work efficiently using own initiative & prioritise workload.
  • Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility.
  • Conscientious and a Team Worker.
  • PC Literate with Excel/Word skills.

CORE ACTIVITIES:

  • Wage Analysis; engineers’ overtime to be collated and sent to payroll.
  • Receive, respond and register calls from the Corby Depot contact number ensuring the information is passed to the relevant person.
  • Receive and respond to web site enquiries remove
  • Driver Training Admin; take enquiry, produce quotes, arrange training and raise invoice. To remove
  • Create truck file; ensuring all correct information is registered in the file.
  • Create service contracts/quotes for customers own trucks to be sent to VSB to raise contract.
  • Engineer Analysis reports to monitor efficiencies i.e. hours on jobs, jobs per day, chargeable v’s fleet repairs etc.
  • Admin support for Senior Operations Managers i.e. Reports, letters, memo’s, general correspondence.
  • On a monthly basis download Loler reports from Kerridge, collate information and forward to third party for inspections to be carried out. Invoice internal and external examinations and pass to Service Manager for action on defects.
  • General holidays and sickness cover as and when necessitated by the business. Specifically, absence cover for the Rental Controller
  • To perform any other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time within the scope of your knowledge, skills and ability
